My vet friend made a suggestion to me last night and I am going to take it. There is a group of people in the community who are trying to start an animal sanctuary. It will be like a no kill facility for strays. I believe there are places like that in the cities, and this will be similar, but on a smaller scale. She suggested I go to their meeting. I already have plans, but am going to take my info to the president of the group today and discuss with her what they group thinks. I am hopeful this will get me heard, without having to go to the mayor. We'll see how it goes.
