We got Brittni moved into her new dorm room on Saturday. It only took us one trip up the stairs because we had so much help. Our church, FBC, and Emmanuel Baptist had volunteers up their helping the kids move in. They knew us and as soon as we had the key, they grabbed her stuff and took it up for us. We were one of the lucky ones as we only had to go up 4 stairs. She is on the second floor and it has a door in the back of the building!!! Thanks FBC and EBC for your help! What an amazing ministry.
Brittni is happily settled into her room, but I think she might be a little lonely. The kids moved in, but they don't start school until Wednesday. They haven't had too much for the kids to do because it has been rainy. She won't have a dorm meeting until tomorrow night so she is really not even sure of the rules. The cafeteria just opened today, so she has been eating in her room or coming home to eat. I can't figure out why we pay for a meal plan that they can't use until today?
